A good location for a relaxing holiday in Saint-Ursanne, La Joux Chaupe is an apartment surrounded by views of the garden. The property features a garden, barbecue facilities and parking on-site among other facilities. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. Every room includes a terrace with mountain views and free WiFi. We spent a wonderful Easter weekend here and thoroughly enjoyed the peacefulness of the area. There was a lot of snow in the area when we first arrived but the house was lovely and warm. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen contained everything we needed supplied (good quality items as well). We were able to BBQ a couple of meals and sit outside to enjoy them. We also immensely enjoyed the table a'hôtes offered at the house. The last evening that we were there was clear and it was possible to see lots of stars in the night sky.

Overall, great experience, we really recommend this place! Nice location on a quiet street, with relaxing views on fields and hills of Jura. Excellent for those travelling by car. Just few minutes drive from Porrentruy and St-Ursanne, with their old towns and numerous hiking trails. Rooms are freshly refurbished, very clean. Our room was not big, but absolutely sufficient, with a nice balcony. The room and the common area are full of light during the daytime. Sylvia is a wonderful host, really making everything she can to help you to feel at home. She does not speak English, but we communicated well in German. Outstanding breakfast. Stable Internet. There are several restaurants available in the area (but you may need to drive there).
