It had complete amenities that we all needed. We cooked for 2 nights and we enjoyed the experience of cooking in the apartment. The property had a small vineyard and we were able to try Martin’s red wine. Best is the warm accommodation we felt from Daniela who picked us up from the train station and brought us back on our way to our next destination. We also liked that the property was very near a church.

Nowhere do the stars shine more intensely and the sunrises are more spectacular than on Pilatus Kulm. So close to Lucerne and yet in a completely different world.

The historic mountain hotel Pilatus-Kulm**** was built in 1890 and completely renovated in 2010. It has 27 superior double rooms and 3 junior suites, all with breathtaking views of the Alpine panorama. Every room comes with a TV. Some rooms include a seating area for your convenience. The rooms are fitted with a private bathroom. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hairdryer. The most peaceful, beautiful place I’ve ever stayed! So impressed with the entire hotel, lovely staff, warm and comfortable room and so spacious! Delicious four course dinner and so many options for breakfast. Can’t wait to stay again!

A variety of wellness packages are available for guests to get rejuvenated on-site. For guests with children, the bed and breakfast features outdoor play equipment. If you would like to discover the area, cycling, fishing and hiking are possible in the surroundings and B&B Friedau can arrange a bicycle rental service. Very nice host. Safe parking for motorbike. I arrived late but the door code was simple and my room key was ready.
