Kim, the host, is very accommodating and you ll received a warm welcome From her and her dogs. The house is about 10 minutes walk from the beach and a grocery store. 30 minutes walk from Puerto viejo so close enough to walk but far enough to enjoy a little peace and quiet if needed. Highly recommend:)

Already the arrival was very pleasant: We were welcomed by Gabriel who picked us up from the boat and walked us to our house. The house was great! Lovely decorations, super clean, good wifi, kitchen equipped with everything you need, quiet and with green all around and right at the boarder of the National Park. Gabriel and his colleague Rodrigo gave us a little walking tour around the village with recommendations for restaurants and info/history about the town with a visit to the Turtle Museum. They were such great guys that we decided to do a Canoe tour with them the next morning and also that we enjoyed very much. Tortuguero is amazing and peaceful with its infinite beach, the canals & the park with its amazing wildlife - definitely one of our highlights of our Costa Rica trip.
