The environment was very quiet and relaxing. I loved the food served at the restaurant but for us breakfast was the most enjoyable meal. We loved the tasteful, simple beauty of the property.

Guests are welcome to eat in the on-site family-friendly restaurant, which is open for dinner, lunch and cocktails. Loved the breakfast, especially the healthy choices, the nourishing drinks, and the hot meals. The ambiance, and sit-down area were excellent. The staff was welcoming. The room was quiet, the bedroom cozy and the bed excellent.

At the hotel, every room is fitted with a desk. Alsik – Hotel & Spa provides most guest rooms with sea views, and all are equipped with a private bathroom. The rooms at the hotel include air conditioning and a wardrobe. I didn’t get to use the spa, however the hotel and room was immaculate. I was over the moon with my stay. Breakfast was lovely massive variety and very fresh. The staff were also very friendly.

At the hotel, certain rooms have a kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven. I loved everything about Hotel Marie. Wonderful, cozy vibe. Lovely staff. Delicious breakfast.

The breakfast room is the jewel of the place: the furniture and tableware are beautiful, the cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, and jams are delicious, the warm bread releases a gentle steam when broken, and Gunnar is busy in the kitchen preparing pancakes. The hosts are charming—we hope to return someday, as they have created a haven of peace and good taste. The region also has some very interesting towns, such as Aabenraa with its fascinating harbor.
