Best suited if you have your own wheels, but I got by just fine with my guided tours and rides from the host and/or my guide. Very kind, engaging and smiling hosts who are always willing to help with anything and everything - bus tickets, guide arrangements, food suggestions, pick-ups, etc. PS You must take Aldi’s advice on local food - he knows the yummiest spots!!

The resort also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Very private, not much people around even it has a restaurant down there. The staff really nice. Overall, it is clean even some facilities looks old and need upgrade (sink, hand bidet)

Situated in Batu-Batu, Hakata Lejja near Natural Hot spring has a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. Boasting room service, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. Free private parking is available and the hotel also features a shuttle service for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. I didn’t sleep so well for month. No cocks, no dogs, no motorbikes, no mosque. Beautiful countryside, lush green everywhere. We got an upgrade to a room with balcony. The driver got a nice room for free. We had dinner offered. The staff was lovely. Thank you so much for making our stay so confortable!

Ibis Styles Makassar Sam Ratulangi offers accommodation in a strategic location in the city of Makassar. Pantai Losari is 15 minutes' drive, Mal Ratu Indah is 10 minutes' drive, while Trans Studio Theme Park is only 5 minutes' drive. The breakfast was good, I woke up late, but they were able to get supply with a good breakfast. It was close to a some local restaurants and shop so, if I wanted to explore, I had the option. The shower was nice and hot, the bed was comfortable. They even watched my luggage while I was in another part of Sulawesi. All in all I have no complaints
