Mount Juliet Estate is set in 500 acres of Irish Countryside. The historic estate is located in Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny and dates back to 1757. On the estate, there are two residences, the historic Georgian Manor House and chic, sophisticated Hunters Yard. Both properties offer luxurious 5-star accommodation. From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed and checked in smoothly. When we asked to view another available room, the staff immediately arranged everything without hesitation and kindly accommodated all our wishes, even helping us move our belongings. The rooms themselves are a true work of art – elegant, stylish, and full of character. Dining at the Hound restaurant was an unforgettable experience – the food was so delicious that we kept thinking about it days later. Breakfast, billiards, sauna, cycling, live music, and so many other wonderful activities were already included in the room rate, making our stay even more special. The live music in the evening created an incredible atmosphere, and the estate grounds are simply breathtaking. At check-out, we didn’t have to worry about a thing – our luggage was taken care of, our car was brought to the entrance already loaded with our belongings, and all we had to do was step outside and drive off. The whole experience felt truly luxurious and unforgettable. It was difficult to leave, and we will definitely be back!

Unforgettable breakfast with a view to their royal gardens, and the staff is super kind and friendly. I loved this hotel.

Oasis Spa offers a range of treatments, pre-booking of appointments is essential. Absolutely beautiful hotel and surroundings. The staff were all lovely and the breakfast was excellent (and in a beautiful setting overlooking the grounds). The spa is small but very nice, the indoor/outdoor pool is unlike anything I have seen before and we absolutely loved it. Can't recommend the Lyrath enough and can't wait to go back again hopefully!

Very spacious and comfortable. Just know you are staying on the premises of an active farm a few minutes outside of Kilkenney, which we loved getting to see the sheep, goats, and cattle all around! We loved EVERYTHING about our stay in O’Sullivan cottage , great communication from Helen & Sam . The cottage was spotless & had such a welcoming vibe. Lovely surprises when we arrived with milk, orange juice & cold beers in the fridge. Plenty of towels in each room. The games room was such a bonus with the pool table , dart board & bar stools other games if you had a rainy day or wanted to chill with a few drinks for the evening. Only 45 mins from Dunmore East , fab Mountain View Market on Sunday . And the perfect pint in Andy’s bar only 5 mins walk from cottage ( FYI this is a cash only bar & no ATM in the village) The back garden with an abundance of wild flowers & fruit tress was a super evening sun trap to sit out in. Helen & Sam have Done this cottage such justice restoring all the original features. The welcome booklet tells you all you need to know. We are already looking at when we can book another stay. The holiday home features a children's playground and a picnic area. Fantastic cute little cottage. Rooms and bathroom a bit smaller but suited us for our one night stay. Host has thought and provided everything that is needed from toothpaste, washing capsules for washing machine to breakfast. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Loved our stay.

It is large and accommodated us all very comfortably, every room is generously sized. It is in a quiet area, with lovely views across the countryside. The host met us and was warm and welcoming. Fresh flowers and a generous hamper of goodies in the well stocked kitchen. One of the best houses I have rented, exceeded expectations, can't wait to return.
