The cottage and main house were so peaceful--I was content to spend hours just reading on my balcony and listening to the birds and the call to prayer down in the valley. I looked forward to every part of my day--but especially breakfast, which was an absolute feast, every time! Some of the best food I've had in Kerala, and that's a high bar. Renju and the staff were wonderful in ordering autos for me when I needed them, and also they were just so friendly and helpful. This is a great place to come for a long or short retreat. Highly recommended.

All the staff went out of their way to help with anything, they were very knowledgeable about all the wildlife, plants and spices. The food here is great too, if I had one small quibble, it’s that you always got way too much food. I would highly recommend Pepper Trail.
