We arrived rather late and super tired, and it probably showed, because – without us saying anything – the owners offered us an impromptu dinner, which was *exquisite* and we had it on the roof terrace, overlooking the entire valley, with the night slowly descending, accompanied by the single most beautiful cat I have ever seen in my entire life. Magical. The breakfast, obviously, was again scrumptious – gosh, the goat ricotta! (I'm getting hungry just writing about it) – served on an elegant balcony, again overlooking the valley and the hills surrounding it. Thomas Mann would have loved it – I sure know we did! Oh! And the art the on the walls, specially the photographs on the ground floor – belong in a contemporary art museum. What an inspiring place!
