Yes it's gorgeous, perched on the side of the mountain with stunning views and luxury accom like having your own onsen but it was the staff who really made it outstanding....Maria, Tui and everyone else were incredibly responsive and helpful...not only when due to train changes, we were 2 hours late arriving (the kitchen staff held our dinner) but also when we left a phone with our JR passes in the taxi. (which we were able to recover!!!)

The owner is the sweetest person ever, I arrived around 7pm and she suggested i take a bath while she cooked me dinner. I felt right at home. I had the double room which was so comfy and spacious. It’s very quiet and there’s a beautiful view of the mountains from the room. Everything was so clean. The morning breakfast was amazing and she also accommodated for my dietary restrictions (vegetarian). She drove me to the train station when I left. The place is 20min from the main attractions and its a beautiful walk. I stayed for 2 days and it was perfect to relax from a long trip. Thank you again 🧡🙏🏻

Free Wi-Fi is available at the lobby, and pets are welcome at a charge. Our stay at the ryokan was phenomenal and exceeded our expectations even though we were already prepared to enjoy it. We loved everything. Before arriving at the train station, I had sent an email asking for a pick-up, and the ryokan sent a car to pick us up on time. We stayed in a standard suite, which felt extremely comfortable and spacious and still had 3 hot baths by itself - 1 inside and 2 open-air ones. It was also possible to use the large "public" onsen but privately (there was a button to turn on a light outside and indicate that the onsen was in use). The view from there was lovely. Breakfast was at 8h30am while dinner varied between 18h30 and 18h00 for us, and the staff provided phone calls to our room before either meals. The kaiseki meals were truly delicious, so varied and so copious. The staff was always attentive and doing their best to accommodate, and the environment of the ryokan itself was quiet and soothing, full of beautiful greenery. The water's temperature for the room's onsens was perfect for us. The wi-fi functioned perfectly. We could not ask for more and would love to come back.
