This guest house is located in the old village of Ait-Ben-Haddou, a sand fortress 30 km from Ouarzazate. You can relax on the furnished terraces, where the hosts will welcome you with mint tea and Moroccan pastries. It’s such a great location. You’re literally situated next to the staircase that would take you all the way to the highest point at Ait Ben Haddou for the perfect sunset view. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They told us how to get to the sunset view and sunrise view. There are also shops on the way. It really helps the locals there if you buy something local so we did just that. It was a very memorable stay and the Kasbah was perfect to explore the culture.

Hôtel Riad Dar Daïf is located 5 km from the centre of Ouarzazate and has views on the Atlas Mountains and the lake. Its furnished patio overlooks the outdoor swimming pool.

All of the rooms are individually and traditionally decorated. All of the rooms are en suite and some have a terrace. Rooms can accommodate up to 3 people. I must say that this was the best hotel of our trip to Morocco. We were treated like kings and queens. There was heating in the room (pretty rare in Morocco), the wifi was working, the food was absolutely delicious and really good value for money. Best meal and breakfast of our stay. They gave us tips about the area (for free which is rare) and they never tried to sell us garbage we don't need. They even gave us some pastries when we left. They made our stay perfect. Amazing staff. The room was also spotless and really comfortable. Thank you for this great experience.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Heritage House Skoura is a guest house situated in a historic building in Skoura, 700 metres from Kasbah Amridil. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. It was an amazing stay. The structure is simple but gorgeous, with a nice internal garden with vegetables and fruits. The hosts are a group of young, local people with an amazing project: sharing local culture and transmitting local values. This has made our stay warm and authentic. They prepared for us an amazing dinner, cooked on the spot, with fresh vegetables picked from the garden. We enjoyed the dinner in front of the fireplace. It was incredible. We highly recommend and encourage this authentic experience!

We didn't give it a 10 only because we found the price a bit on the high side compared to all the other places we stayed at during our 24 days road trip.

At Maison D'hôtes IMINIGRAN & Spa, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and high tea and serves Moroccan cuisine. Small size property, run by the owner, who is an excellent host, very good food and comfortable rooms!
