After a long journey, we were greeted with refreshing welcome drinks and cold towels, and even picked up directly from the bus station—a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay. Milan, the concierge, truly went above and beyond. He was the most attentive and caring concierge we’ve ever met, providing invaluable information before, during, and even after our stay. He took care of everything, from arranging free transport to the bus station and visits to the elephant breeding centers, to organizing our onward travel and bus tickets. His dedication to ensuring our experience was seamless and stress-free was truly remarkable. The hotel’s own safari guide, Raj, was another highlight. His passion for wildlife was evident, and his knowledge made our safari experience unforgettable. The team made sure to carefully walk us through all the tour options, helping us choose the best ones suited to our interests. Special thanks to the wonderful waitstaff, Robyn and Kabita, who went out of their way to suggest delicious local dishes and served the best coffee. Their warm service and attention to detail made every meal a delight. This hotel delivers on every front, from outstanding service to thoughtful recommendations. If you’re looking for a place that truly cares about its guests, this is it!

L’établissement Hotel Butterfly - Peaceful Garden for Nature Lovers se trouve à Sauraha, à 2 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Tharu Cultural Museum. Super great location, great and afford food! The room was also really good and the staff super friendly! They also brought and dropped me at the bus station which was so nice. I highly recommend this place!

My room had everything I needed, including a well working hot shower — a real treat after a day out in the park. The inn itself is perfectly located in my opinion: You’re away from the busy main road, but both the village centre and the bus station are easy to reach by foot within a few minutes walk. When I wanted to go to the neighboring village for a little trip, they also kindly let me borrow a bicycle. I went on two walking Safaris led by Isswor who has decades of experience in the area. We were accompanied by Ram as a second guide and both of them always managed to find great spots to have some close but respectful & safe animal encounters.

La disponibilité, l’accueil, l’honnêteté de notre hôte et de sa famille. Il nous a pas harcelé comme beaucoup de Népalais l’ont fait auparavant avec des tours organisés. Il nous a proposé quelque chose et nous a laissé tranquillement réfléchir à cela, sans mettre de pression. Sinon, lit grand et confortable, bon chauffage, douche à bonne pression et chaude qui fonctionne à l’énergie solaire. Si vous voulez vous doucher le matin, ce n’est pas le meilleur endroit pour vous! Le wifi fonctionne bien. Il y a des supers bons restos à 2 pas et pas chers en plus. Merci à vous!

The owner, Mr. Suraj, runs the property professionally and with utmost hospitality. He also helped planning a variety of activities during my stay in Sauraha : jungle walk and jeep safari. The evening was filled with a Tharu dance cultural program whose venue is right next to the hotel. It was a memorable and pleasant stay for me in Sauraha.

He will organize all types of Safari for you and on top never hesitates to overtake transportation or laundry jobs for you to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The guides he is working with (in my case Yam and Kiran) are very nice people, highly knowledgeable and will introduce you to the plentitude of wildlife in Chitwan.

I collect 40-50 species of bird in one day just in the radius of this facility I like atmosphere and original acomodation and staff is just great, frendly and professional. .
