This 4-star holiday park offers a shared kitchen and luggage storage space. The holiday park features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. Nice and quiet neighbour. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had two children with us so the wonderful playground was the centre of attraction. The units were clean and the bed, including the sofa bed were comfortable. Location was good. Recommended to family visiting the Hokitika area.

Cardrona Hotel features an iconic on-site restaurant and bar. You can enjoy the picturesque gardens while sipping a drink on the patio. This hotel features a hot tub, a ski drying room and shared lounge and laundry facilities. We loved the history and quaintness of this special hotel. The rooms, gardens, and bar were all very comfortable and welcoming. I highly recommend stopping here if you are driving through Cardrona.

The property offers free barbecue facilities, a children’s playground and self-service laundry. Guests can also rent a bicycle to explore the surrounding areas, or relax at the games room. There are public kitchens and dining rooms available. We stayed in cabin 28 and it was excellent. It was spotless and had a nice outside sitting area. Bed was comfortable and had a heated mattress cover if required. Furniture was comfortable. The bbq and kitchen facilities on site were well maintained. Everything was there snd in great condition. Close to groceries and vould walk to Caroline Beach (30 minutes). Wish we could have stayrd longer..
