Beautiful resort in a great location, close to Muscat city, but still very secluded. Not too big and crowded, not too small, just the right size. Well maintained property. Excellent, attentive and very caring staff.

I had a great time during my 3 days stay at Fort Guesthouse, its located in old town Mutrah and its a 7 min. walk to the souq and restaurants. The owner is friendly and the caretakers Mubarak and Nihara are so kind and helpfull and took great care of me while I was there. Would stay there again if coming back to Muscat.

Amazing hotel, staff very polite and extremely helpful, food was delicious. It has two swimming pools, one is infinity pool with sea view. Hotel is very clean and it is obvious that is very well maintained. Rooms are spacious, big king size bed was a dream.

Kids have access to Ritz Kids, an engaging program for children of all ages to take part in various beach and outdoor adventures, including Al Bustan reef snorkeling, table tennis, beach soccer, or arts and crafts. The program also invites children to discover our destination with several activities designed to discover the local culture and traditions, such as a henna tutorial, Omani culture workshops, Arabian tales story-telling or a hotel tour to meet the palace’s famous coffee man. It was an exceptional experience of the perfection of life. I hated to leave. Everything and the food was exceptional. I will go back again and again.

Quite large fitness hall with squash and sauna. Quality / price ratio is good compared with a number of other hotels on the beach in Oman.
