Located in State College, Pennsylvania, this hotel is 5 minutes' drive from Penn State University it has an indoor swimming pool and offers free WiFi access and free shuttle service. Downtown State College is 6 minutes' drive. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The whole hotel smelled clean but not in an overpowering way and looked cleaner than it smelled! Body wash in the shower was phenomenal

Skiing, cycling and fishing are possible within the area, and the accommodation offers ski storage space. Visited the 'Gasthaus' with my daughter in June. Intention was to stay one night only, as stopover between CAN and D.C. The moment we arrived, we knew we want to stay for another night. We immediately felt home, welcome, at peace. If you need a break for your mind and soul, this is the place to go to! A beautifully decorated, clean and quite home. And the most kind and attending hosts, Angie and Bryan. I have traveled a lot, this is certainly on the top of places I have been to.

The property is around 17 km from Port Erie Bicentennial Tower, 20 km from Erie Zoo and 17 km from Erie Insurance Arena. The hotel offers lake views, a children's playground, and free WiFi is available. Great location with beautiful views of the lake and close to the wineries. Rooms were cozy and clean and people working there were really helpfull and nice.
