Claudio and Annalisa are amazing hosts. It was hot, so the pool offered welcome relief. We were made to feel welcome from the first minute. Loved the balsamic tour. Evening with dinner and music under the olive trees was quite something. Don't forget to visit the stunning town of Castelvetro di Modena

The property has design and character. The view is beautiful. There is an authentic cellar for balsamic vinegar in the centre of the hotel. The food was good. The breakfast had fresh juice with fruits from the garden. The ingredients were local and good quality. The staff was very kind and friendly to us. Lucia especially, one of the waitresses during dinner, was so very kind to us. We really liked her. Also they are dog friendly!

We really enjoyed the place. We had amazing view from balcony, comfortable bed and delicious breakfast with everything you need. Good coffee, fresh juice and also specialities. Also dinner in restaurant was delicious. Very designy place.

Villa Agavi - a hidden gem Ilaria and her family was the most welcoming and frendliest hosts ever. They property is amazing with plants, trees, flowers and hens/roosters. The pool is super refreshing with a nice view. Our children 2 and 5yrs old had a great time with plenty of things to do on the property. The rooms are brand new and beautifully decorated, with well working A/C. Ilaria helped us a lot with booking restaurants and Parmigiano tasting. We also had the best food (pinsa, bruschetta and salads) and Lambrusco wine prepared and served by Ilaria on our 12days trip in Italy. This was a 5* experience. This place is worth a detour and we will be back as soon as we can.

We stayed here for one night, and it was awesome! The place is up on a hill with amazing views of the countryside and rocks—so cool! The owner is super nice and lives there with her family. She cooks the best food ever, using fresh, local stuff. Everything we ate was seriously tasty. Our room was really cozy and decorated nicely. But the best part was definitely the chill, family vibe and the killer view. If you want a place with great food, friendly people, and amazing scenery, this is the spot. Totally recommend it!

This property is very unique. We loved the location atop a mountain between 2 beautiful valleys. The owner and staff were very welcoming and the food was some of the best we have had in Italy over the last 12 years. We actually felt like part of the family. We will definitely come back for a longer stay.
