We really enjoyed the peaceful countryside, the great view over the valleys as well as the really nice pool. The farm is in a perfect position to explore the sites around. But the real plus is the hospitality of the owners. We had dinner every evening sitting at the large table in the kitchen with other guests and friends of the family. The food served was outstanding, grown on the farm and healthy. This makes this place a really unique experience!

Beautiful room and location! The bed was very comfortable, the shower was excellent and the little kitchenette in the room was useful. Our dogs were also very welcome and loved walking around the vineyard. We didn’t use the pool but I’m sure it would be lovely on a hot day! Breakfast was simple but delicious and served in the family house. We would recommend it for one night, or a few nights so you can relax into the stunning surroundings.

i loved staying at Quinta da Roda for a couple of reasons. It's located in the "middle of nowhere," and I loved how getting there itself was an adventure. You'll love the drive up there, it's so beautiful! also the staffs. it's a family run business so from checking in to welcome tea and homemade snacks, it's handled with care and you can tell. Very friendly, attentive. the room was neat, spotlessly clean as well. highly recommend staying here if you're around Peneda Gerês National Park.
