Situated in Franschhoek, in a historic building, 28 km from Boschenmeer Golf Course, La Villa is a recently renovated farm stay with pool with a view and garden. This farm stay features free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. I rarely write reviews. However as this place was sp special I felt impelled to. This place was absolutely spectacular. Value for money was exceptional. You can also walk to and from the main town safely. The staff were so kind and welcoming. Would go back in a heartbeat! Could not recommend more.

At the farm stay, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. We stayed in the Fynbos Cottage. There is "beautiful" and there is "out of this world" - on the scale of 1 to 10, this comfortably scores 20. The location of the cottage at the top of the farm, surrounded by the natural vegetation, accentuated by the simple and beautiful furnishings is truly, truly, truly astonishing. The host couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. We are really grateful and would return in a nanosecond if possible...

The nearest airport is Cape Town International, 70 km from the accommodation. Very nice location just outside Franschhoek; located on a working farm - with Zebra's in your own backyard. The accommodation was spacious, fully equiped with all cooking needs, and amazing views on sunset from your garden. Safe location, 2 gates to enter property.

Fresh eggs, branded products, wine in the fridge …. This is our second stay and I am planning the return.
