Beautiful surroundings and breathtaking views from the window. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Everyone who works at the hotel was really kind and welcoming. It was great to be able to purchase food and drinks at the hotel as well. Breakfast was included but you have to pay extra for coffee. The lady working in the kitchen was super sweet and even gave me snacks for my long train journey! Perfect example of Chinese hospitality.

We spent a delightful couple of days at the Zen Garden Hotel. The hotel is set in an idyllic part of Yangshuo, with stunning views over the local countryside and river. It is a lovely spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of Chinese city life. All the staff were amazing and truly wanted to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The food was delicious,mainly Chinese with locally sourced ingredients but the chef will cook some western food too if you ask them.

We had a wonderful stay at the Yangshuo Ancient Garden Boutique hotel, I will definitively recommend this hotel if you want to discover this beautiful area. The hotel is very nice, well located in a quiet area but not far from the city. It is nicely decorated and the rooms are beautiful. Sophia took very good care of us, she organised all the visits and activities for our family, everything was smooth and perfect for the family. This is easily the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in! This was the ‘splurge’ part of our two weeks in China and it didn’t disappoint. The service was incredible, the duty manager checked in periodically to check how we slept, if we needed help with anything, if we had onward transport sorted on the day we checked out. The rooms and grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The food was delicious and there was a very good range of things to choose from. I would really recommend the river cruise and the cormorant fishing trip, both were highlights of our China trip.

Staying at this Li River scenic area hotel in Yangshuo was a wonderful experience! Converted from an old house, it blends history with modern comfort. The pool was a lifesaver during summer, offering a refreshing escape from the heat. The serene environment ensured peaceful relaxation. The staff went above and beyond, crafting detailed travel plans that made exploring a breeze. To top it off, the local cuisine served here was delicious, truly capturing the flavors of the region.
