It’s a lovely place. The view was spectacular! The room is so pretty and the bedding is of very high quality. Staff is most helpful. It was raining when we arrived by a car, one of the staff member was standing in the car park with an umbrella - so considerate. Breakfast was delicious. We didn’t want to leave. Highly recommended. Whatever you see, it’s a picture - indoor and outdoor. Super experience.

Applegarth was a great place to begin our Lake District walk. The historical home was gorgeous and well appointed in every aspect. We enjoyed the comfortable beds and linens, location was ideal and central. Hosts and staff friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic at breakfast and for one of our dinners. Highly recommend.

Everything about Diamond Lodge has a 5 star quality about it, from the moment we arrived to when we left we felt comfortable and all the staff were amazing. The breakfast was excellent, good quality food and the little touches here and there went along way compared to other places we have stayed. Would definitely recommend and also return.
