Established in 1887 as Finland's grand hôtel, Hotel Kämp is located in the heart of Helsinki opposite the beautiful Esplanade park. The hotel features 179 spacious rooms, 15 of which are luxurious suites. We liked everything. Our room was cosy; it was the first time when I felt at home in a hotel. I tried SPA treatments, and they were on a good level, too. The staff was polite, friendly, and helpful. We came right after Christmas, and the hotel was beautifully decorated. So many things have been included, which is what to be expected from a 5-star hotel: shower cap, soft bath robes and slippers, bath salts, nice capsule coffee machine (we didn't use though). The breakfast was very nice with good selection and food quality. I particularly liked old-styled porridge with dry fruits (I didn't try such before, but I'm pretty sure it's how it tasted when the hotel was founded 137 years ago) and that tasty cappuccino was included into the price.

Despite some ongoing construction work, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable. I can't wait to return once all the constructions are complete. I highly recommend this place for a fantastic stay.

Solo Sokos Hotel Torni Helsinki’s modern, soundproofed guest rooms are decorated in 2 different styles: Art Nouveau and Art Déco. All have an LCD TV with cable channels and a private bathroom with shower or bathtub. Some include a seating area. The Torni Hotel is very centrally located and has a gorgeous view over the city from the rooftop bar. The hotel is well maintained, and my room was exceptionally clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a large variety of delicious foods. There is also a cocktail bar and restaurant on site.
