The hotel itself is very pleasant and well decorated. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you in anyway they can. Our room was even better than in the photos, spacious, comfortable, A/C, Wi-fi, personal swimming pool and long chairs, with everything you might need during your stay. The breakfast was high quality, you do have to chose in advance, meaning the previous day, what you will want but it's well worth it and with lots of options to chose from. Another positive point was a parking spot in their garage since we had a rented car. The hotel also has a little gym room, pool and spa, which we end up not using due to other activities we had planned but it looked nice and can be a plus for some people. Lastly, the location is good if you want to escape the "city center rush" and have a beautiful (but distant) view on the port and shore. However going to the center of Chania will require some compromise. We had our own car so it was fine to go but finding a parking spot (in particular for free) can be a challenge. Walking is possible but it will take quite some time. The alternatives are then bus or taxi, which give you less freedom or the need to pay. In any case, we truly enjoyed the entire experience, we were definitely happy with our stay!

The stuff were extremely kind, sensitive and tuned and made our time there the best it could be, and The breakfast and all the amanities the hotel provieded were amazing! Breakfast was outstanding, lots of bread, pastries, cooked to order eggs. Owner Tammy was very friendly and provided trip recommendations. They have worked very hard for several years to make this hotel a reality, and it's a standout in so many respects. Amalia was very friendly and loves also providing restaurant recommendations, we're glad we were able to eat in one of her top 3 restaurants, Gramvousa. George also provided us with great tips to visit the Samaria gorge, which in our view, is a top place to visit. Room was large, with jacuzzi, located just a short walk from the main harbor. I would recommend it without hesitation. There is parking in front of the hotel for just 3 cars, reserved for the hotel guests. If arriving late, you can always park nearby on the same road, preferably on a spot before reaching the hotel.

The staff were so friendly and kind, with a warm welcome every day. The hotel rooms themselves were luxurious beyond belief, with some of the most comfortable bedding I’ve ever slept in. I nearly wouldn’t have been able to get out of bed each morning on account of it, but for the breakfast, which was my food highlight of my holiday (which was a high bar to top). Well done to all - probably the best overall hotel experience of my life!

One of the best hotel stays I had so far. Overall an amazing experience! You really get your money's worth here. Staff: Outstanding staff, be it the receptionist, the waiters, or the valet. They were very attentive, always friendly and overall very professional. The ladies at the reception helped me with the organization of a trip which I much appreciated. Room: Nice, clean rooms with beautiful ocean view. unfortunately I didn't have one of the rooms with a balcony but it was still very nice as you could hear the waves ( very relaxing). Only small downside of my room was that it was right above the restaurant, so it could get a bit noisy (wasn't too bad). on the bright side the room also had a steam shower which was very nice, especially after a long hike. Overall, the room furnishings were very high quality. Restaurant: Only had the breakfast. You have a small buffet as well as some dishes that you can order a la carte. The selection isn't too big but the quality is outstanding. Better than what you would typically encounter at the large 5 star hotel chains. The best thing is you eat right next to the ocean. As mentioned before, the waiters are very friendly and attentive. There is also an option to eat dinner at the restaurant but unfortunately I didn't manage to do so. but the dishes looked good (also very affordable) and the reviews were excellent. Location: Great location right next to the ocean. the hotel is a bit outside of the city center / harbor but you can get there in about 10 - 15 minutes by foot (nice walk along the shoreline). I personally preferd that the hotel was not right in the center but that's probably a matter of preference. Spa: I had a treatment that was very relaxing. otherwise I didn't use the spa. But it looked very clean and comfortable. Overall an amazing stay and I hope I get the chance to come back at some point in time.
