The area is popular for cycling, and bike hire is available at this 5-star hotel. I had an incredible stay at Inara Alas Harum for 5 days. The rooms are stunning and very comfortable, and it really feels like a retreat. Bathroom feels so luxurious with the rain shower and the massive bath, which the hotel provides a scented foam to use, it opens up if you would like to enjoy the view. My room had a small balcony that felt very private even when I had it open to just enjoy the view of the rice fields! I loved the reading nets that are next to the pool, and the food was excellent. The hotel were very helpful to book a pottery class at Serayu Pot which was amazing, so much fun and very refreshing --would recommend this experience a lot! Although I didn't make use of the hotel transportation (very expensive for a single traveler), I did not have any problems finding a bike or car through Grab (just make sure to book about 20 min in advance in case they're not in the area). Resort is about 30 min drive from Ubud centre, located in the middle of the rice fields in a beautiful village. Although quiet, there are some warungs nearby and it's a nice place to walk around. The staff were so kind!
