Great service is often the case with hotels in Japan, but Hotel Sosei was on a whole new level compared to anything we had experienced previously. The staff truly made you feel special, like you were some kind of foreign dignitary to be treated with the utmost respect. The room was spectacular (and we stayed in the cheapest option available) with a massive bed and large amount of space. The bar next to the reception counter was also a highlight, especially when the bartender went out of his way to give us detailed recommendations for local ramen spots.

It felt like home , though we didn’t speak Japenese.

I must’ve banged my feet and ankles on the chair in my room 100 times. The chairs legs are made of a substance harder than anything else known to man. Hurt my leg so many times. Who picked the furniture?
