The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. Set amidst lush paddy fields surrounded by lush greens, the property is just 10-minute drive away from the famous Temple of the Tooth Relic. The location was nice with great views, the pool was mesmerizing, the staff were very nice, everything was clean! We had a taxi driver provided by the hotel drive ua around the different locations and attractions, for a very reasonable price, and he was very kind and knowledgeable!

Kandalama Heritance is a 20-minute drive from UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the 2,000-year-old cave temple at Dambulla and the Sigiriya rock fortress. The 5-star hotel is a 3.5-hour drive from the airport. Amazing hotel ! Beautiful architecture, comfortable rooms/ areas , buffet more than perfect , personal super , a bit expensive but it worths it

We were warmly welcomed with a traditional drum & song routine performed by the wonderful staff. The room was so comfortable, had everything we needed and a full mini bar included in the rate. The hotel facilities were great and absolutely spotless. The food was exceptional and the service outstanding. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to friends & family.

The accommodation provides room service, a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage for guests. Lost for words, the elegance and charm this place exudes is beyond me. I booked a room and there were two other rooms scheduled to arrived but did not show up. Ended up having the entire place to myself, the service from the staff was amazing and personal. Photos do not do this place justice, I'd give it a 20/10 if I could. Atmosphere felt so romantic me and my then girlfriend (now Fiancee) got engaged there.

This place is magical. It’s totally worth the price.
