We had beautiful stay at this amazing place. Personal was always here and helpful, arranged for us tuktuk and bird watching tour. The room was amazing, clean, spacious, comfortable, we were upgraded for free. Ever day nice breakfast- different options available. Long Beach with palms and minimum people. If you get behind the waves, you can swim there. But best for long walks. Few beach restaurants nearby with fresh fish. Calm and peaceful, ideal if you want to get away from the crowds and just spend time with the sea and yourself.

It was truly the most peaceful and relaxing end to a pretty busy two weeks in Sri Lanka. It is located on a very quiet beach away from all the party towns. Everything was spotless and the staff were incredible. So friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and they were so accommodating for vegan options. I also had a great massage and the best pina coladas of my life.

You can always find a nice spot to enjoy the shade in hot day, listening sooting sound of waves. Lounge area being one of them. Beautiful pool and vicinity of the beach gives you the choice to enjoy your swim. Room was spacious and inviting, with the big and comfortable bed and nice terrace to enter the garden. A la carte breakfast was amazing, with variety of local and international choices. Compliments to the chef. We had the issue with our shower, but Oshan and his team sorted it out immediately. The only thing we regret is not staying here longer, due to our previously arranged plans, but we are looking forward to our next trip to Sri Lanka and enjoy Taru villas once again.

The villa itself is so beautiful, it felt like peaceful oasis. Our room was spacious and luxurious with a great view. Awesome staff, both Suresh and George looked after us so well and could help with any query. The breakfast was super tasty too. We will be back!

I almost don't want to share my review of The Last House because I want it to be my own little secret paradise! But of course, its fair to share. This is one of the most incredible hotels I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in some pretty cool places. Of course the Geoffrey Bawa factor is cool, but the fact that the house manages to strike that perfect balance between luxury, yet so accessibly and comfortable. Nothing felt contrived or overdone, the house fit the surroundings perfectly, yet you felt like you were living in luxury. The incredibly beautiful and completely deserted beach is steps, STEPS, from the hotel. Every day we were there it was less than 5 people on the whole beach. Some of the best meals we had on our whole trip was at the Last House, the breakfast especially is incredible. And the service was impeccable. Nothing was too much, and they were super flexible with us on check in and check out time. Despite the fact that this place is a 12 hour flight from my home, I have no doubt in my mind that I will be back to this hotel. 11/10!

We booked the honeymoon suite which was spacious and clean. The best part was the monkeys that love to come and visit . The staff went all out with an evening bonfire and cocktails by the lake . The pool is a great size to go for a proper swim . They have a great spa which is elevated amoungst the trees . I had a fabulous foot massage. ❤️
