Travelled solo to do some hikes in seoraksan national park. It was a little further away compared to other hotels however, for the cleanliness & comfort, I would definitely forgo the time on the bus to stay here again.

What a beautiful place to stay! My room (spacious, welcoming, very modern and with a great bathroom) and a balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel is in a magical spot, not in the centre of Sokcho (but I had been there before, I wanted to explore the area) and you can really get an authentic experience with the atmosphere and the food. The convenience store inside the hotel is not a rarity in Korea, but I am still not used to it, I think it's so cool and convenient :) Super recommend if you want to visit the Daepo Port area.

KensingtonHotel Seorak is located in Sokcho, less than 200 metres from Seorak National Park. A household name with Korean celebrities, it features free parking and free WiFi.

It’s a 5 minute walk to the entrance of Seoraksan NP. Which gives you the opportunity to be in the park when most visitors have allready left or have not arrived yet.

Clear instructions for drop-off of luggage and check-in (although it would have been more customer friendly to do it in both Korean and English). Room and beds were good.

I rate the hotel overall 5/5. Everything was pretty modernized and very foreign friendly. Easy to navigate my way through the hotel. I felt like I had my own mini apartment for 1 night.

This has been the best hotel I've ever stayed in while in Korea. It is brand new, the room was a luxury, with sea views, a balcony, it was all spotless clean, the bed was the most comfortable ever, with fresh white bed sheets, spacious room with a fancy coffee machine and kettle, Great location right next to the bus station and the beach.

Great location, sea view, and value for money. The room and bathroom were quite spacious. If you are looking for nice, clean and simple room, this is it. They stored our luggage when needed and had a spare umbrella to borrow when needed.
