It's in a great location right in the village centre next to shops and food outlets and not far from the beach. It's a very well-appointed backpackers' lodge with extensive and tasteful sitting areas both inside and out and well-equipped communal kitchen. The bedroom was pleasant and the bed comfortable.

Loved everything about it! We had a great stay at Crow’s Nest. Apartment was spacious, clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Cafés and restaurants, beach and playground within walking distance. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Great location to explore the attractions nearby.

This is a great space. The kitchen is well stocked and the rooms are a good size. Everything is clean, comfortable and well appointed. The reception is warm and give great tips for the area! Pool is also clean and warm. Short walk to town.

    Such an incredible location, the rooms are top quality and ours had its own private garden terrace for morning coffee! We ate at the restaurant on-site, and it was the best food I have had so far in New Zealand. Unfortunately I was unwell so we had to cut our stay short and come back to Auckland but I am counting down the days until I can get back to Hahei!
