A great place. Modern, large , really very spacious room fully equipped and well organised. You will find everything you need. Nice usefull and equipped kitchen space. Very clean. Large comfortable bed. A nice sofa, a balcony. Kind and helpful manager, very nice, attentive staff. Laundry place (washing and dryer). Wonderful bathroom. Easy car park, in front of your building. Nice small buildings. Lovely view. A feel-good place. Everything was perfect. Very close to Motueka, you can walk in easily. Quiet place and can ear birds. Weather was very bad and we stayed a large day part inside , very pleasant and comfortable. Very easy to find. Good wifi. Can be a good base for touristic places around. This is a 10/10 property that I'd recommend to anyone.

- Great location, 10 minute walk into Kaiteriteri, a great base to explore from too - Immaculate rooms, great kitchen, furniture, everything was clean and spotless - Suite was spacious too - Balcony and view were amazing, spa bath in the room was awesome, enjoying sunset and the stars - Continental breakfast was on point, the food/drinks on offer whilst limited to vegetarian options other than eggs, were all delicious and of good quality

Due to the (previous day's windy) weather the ferry from the North Island was delayed by around 4 hours leaving Wellington and arriving in Picton and in addition we were detoured due to a traffic incident enroute and arrived therefore late - after 8pm. Good and forthcoming communication of the circumstances with the landlady, Rose, on alternative ways to pick up the keys to our two chalets upon arrival. Rose ended up welcoming us in person after all. In addition to two charming four legged companions including the 18 year old cat. The two chalets (split between parents and son and daughter) were modern, well presented and provided what we needed. Nice sitting space on the front porch. Parking next to the chalet. Close to the starting point of the path into Abel Tasman NP. Rose was very helpful trying to organize water taxi however the weather next morning was too bad for the water taxi provider to offer any scenic tours. Still, we much appreciated her advise on places to eat and hikes to do in the morning given the weather forecast warning of more rain to come in the afternoon.

Spent a night here and it was a great place to unwind. Unit was clean and comfortable, they had a well stocked pantry for your cooking needs, and the surrounding ambience was great!

We used this place as a stop over between Picton and Abel Tasman NP. Too bad we did not plan to stay longer. Looks like a great place to stay as few days with kids.

The accommodation was amazing. Furnished with a lot of love. Chico also created a Christmas atmosphere, which was great. A highlight was the wine from the winery and the home-baked bread. You have a beautiful view. We can recommend the cottage and would definitely come back.

Chris & Jared are up there with the best hosts I've come across. Both went over and above to help us organise our activities by advising walking routes, checking kayak availability and booking water taxis. We even got excellent tips from Chris on where to stop for sightseeing and food for the next part of our journey (St.Arnaud and the River Cafe were both excellent, thanks Chris !). Lovely, cosy chalet with beautiful views and ideal location to the beach and abel tasman track - highlight of our holiday so far !

Situated in Marahau, 38 km from Nelson, Abel Tasman Lodge features a hot tub and sauna. Abel Tasman National Park is within a 5-minute walk from the property.

It had a good vibe and they ensure there are instructions for everything. Provided extra towels for out door activity as well. Nice beach feel.
