Guests staying at Alcyone Hotel Residences can enjoy a day of shopping at Portside Wharf, a stroll along the Brisbane River, 3 minutes' walk from the property, or a day in, relaxing by the properties outdoor pool. Secure on-site parking is available. Loved every thing about the hotel- adjacent to the river allowing leisurely ferry trips into CBD, excellent breakfast cafe ( open 24/7) right outside hotel entrance , two minute walk to grocery store , good restaurants along adjoining street - In short ,location could not be better. Room was spacious and well appointed - in room washer / dryer especially handy. Staff at the hotel were exceptional - we cannot thank them enough for all their assistance ( including storing our luggage for three days and then having our bags waiting for us in our room when we arrived back in late evening for a further stay ) - 5 star ++++++ service !Many thanks .

The restaurant serves Australian cuisine. Can’t fault this resort, our second time staying. Will always be our go to whenever we’re in need of accommodation in Rocky. Great location, close to all local amenities plus a 30 minute drive to Yeppoon. Clean and family friendly, bonus is the pool.

The luxurious 4.5 star Homestead Stable and 4 star Pioneer Slab Hut rooms have private use of the bath terrace. All other rooms are 3.5 stars and have access to the shared swimming pool, BBQ and laundry facilities. Absolutely wonderful stay at Saltbush. We were greeted by a lovely, friendly man (his name escapes me) who gave us a great recommendation for a butcher so we could get some steaks for dinner. The entire place is cozy and rustic. We didn’t use the baths but they looked so cool! Rooms were spacious, our cabin looked out onto some grass with kangaroos grazing, which was a delight for our 9 month old. It had everything we needed, including wine glasses, I only wish we’d bought a bottle from them! Highly recommend, we had a lovely little stay :)
