Baileys Hotel is a listed Georgian building located in the heart of Cashel town. It offers luxurious, refurbished rooms, fine dining, and views of The Rock of Cashel. With free parking, it is just 1.5km from junction 9 off the M8 motorway. My wife is our trip planner. She deliberately bypassed the Blarney Castle to come to Cashel. She explained why and I agreed. She asked me to select the hotel in Cashel and I chose this one. I am glad I did. The hotel is outstanding in every respect. Breakfast is included and parking is available just a short distance away. The staff is tremendous. They recommended dining at their restaurant on site, but we wanted to go elsewhere. When we found nothing else open, we returned here. The room was very large with plenty of space and it even had a view of the Rock. The only quirky thing was the bathroom door and the positioning of the toilet seat. It was awkward. Still, we loved our one night in Cashel. The breakfast was absolutely perfect with a perfectly cooked eggs Benedict. If you visit Cashel, this is your place for everything.

Located on the outskirts of Thurles town, Anner Hotel and its leisure centre is a pleasant base with friendly staff, fine food and plenty of comforts. Originally a country house, the hotel has expanded to include modern amenities whilst still holding on to its old world charm and character. It was clean and classy. Had dinner in the restaurant and a drink at the bar. Very nice.

Hotel Minella and Leisure Centre has individually designed and decorated rooms. The oak-panelled restaurant has garden views and is renowned for excellent food. A fabulous Hotel run by a professional staff and lovely people. Warm and peaceful.
