The perfect place to stay on Salina island. Located within the quiet village of Leni overlooking the sea. A Dream location. The host Francesca went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. She made gluten free cakes for breakfast ( as I was gluten intolerant) , home made Jams ( when chatting with locals they mentioned her Jams ) and amazing uova strapazzate with mint each morning. Her love of the island was infectious as she recommended the best places to visit and eat. If you are looking for a local experience with local people from the island that will make you feel like you are at home then - this is the place to be !

Hotel Mea is 500 metres from the port in the centre of Lipari. It offers an Aeolian restaurant, and a sea-view swimming pool with hydromassage jets. The Moorish-style rooms come with a furnished patio or balcony. Beautiful hotel with great view and nice pool. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Restaurant is very good, “chef recommends” dinner set is a great deal, breakfast is also good.

Featuring Aeolian-style architecture, Hotel Mamma Santina is set in several houses with terrace, balcony or patio. The resort offers views of Lipari, Panarea and Stromboli islands, and a free-form pool. Everything about the property was great - the location, the facilities, the food and most especially the personal attention given to us by the staff. The entire hotel has been carefully designed and finished retaining charm and authenticity. We found every corner to be beautifully curated, and with Stromboli as the main backdrop, it all made for a visually stunning experience. Relaxing on a hammock overlooking Stromboli on the hotel room terrace is an experience in itself. Food is excellent at both breakfast and dinner. They offer a selection of homemade marmalades, granitas and cakes for breakfast which are delightful. Dinner was also a pleasant experience and we fully recommend their exceptional pasta Norma with baked ricotta salata. Getting there and around was easy as the hotel is one alleyway away from the Main Street in Santa Maria Salina and port.

Family run, Francesco was SUPER helpful, over and above. Gorgeous location, full of history and culture. This is a unique experience.

We were picked up from ferry which was great. Very long pepple beach nice to swim in. Need water shoes.

This 4-star hotel is just 400 metres from the nearest beach and is close to some of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Lipari. Boats to the other Aeolian Islands and Sicily leave from the harbour nearby. The hotel was beautiful and very easily located to the port and main street to eat or shop. The girls at front desk were extremely helpful and friendly.
