Before traveling I had read reviews from booking and other sites and sometimes take them with a grain of salt. Often travelers get caught up in the euphoria of International travel post pandemic and post biased reviews. But this place surpassed all our expections; we were astounded by the luxurious quality and comfort of the tent accommodations. Mustafa, our camel guide for the 4km trek earlier in the evening even doubled as a drummer in the Berber traditional after dinner music show! His musical flair on the drums was a big hit with the crowd. Shout out to our contact Mr. Hassan who delivered everything as promised and then more! This is the number one recommendation for the Sahara trip overnight camp experience. Look no further.

An unforgettable journey to Merzouga! Our driver, Houssam, was an amazing guide, sharing many stories and interesting facts along the way. Upon arrival at the camp, we were warmly welcomed by Mohamed and Ali with cheerful spirits and top-notch service. Despite the daytime heat, the tents had good natural ventilation, and the nighttime atmosphere turned magical and truly enjoyable. The evening gatherings under the stars, accompanied by traditional singing, made the night unforgettable. Mostafa were always present to ensure our comfort at every moment. Stunning experience in the middle of nowhere, maybe one of the ends of the world! The camp is out of other desert camps, and this makes the accommodation more genuine. I arrived at the meeting point late than expected, because of a long way from Fes, but they were came special for me to pick me up from Mouhou parking place and Base Camp. The people from the camp are very kind and even performed local and particular Berber songs for guests, (we were 6), just near their cool warm fire, very suitable in the evening time. They prepared a very authentic dinner, surprisingly good cooked and very tasty, even in these hard conditions, more than satisfied related to this. The mattress was good and the general condition was more than acceptable accordingly with the environment. The most I liked a complete and unique silence, maybe one of the most silent nights I ever lived. The worst was the time of sand storm, and I cannot saw the moon and either the sunset, just some shadows from sand's fog.
