The hosts stick to every agreement, are punctual, and overall just great. Everything went smoothly, and we had a very pleasant experience. The food was very tasty and excellent. I definitely recommend having them take you to the big sand dune.

Ibraheim and the rest of the team were exceptional, accommodating to our every need. We arrived much later than we expected and Ibraheim was very reassuring and took care of all the arrangements. He took time to sit with us after dinner and breakfast the next morning, he is an outstanding contact to have if you are in Oman and require travel arrangements to any part of the country - he supplied us with a route on google maps to see as many places as possible in the shortest amount of time! We had an amazing night here, the camp is further out than the others which gives it a private and exclusive feeling. One of the most beautiful sunsets ever, good buffet dinner & breakfast & fire at night with the stars above was a highlight! Bathrooms are clean, just a bit smelly, I guess that is not to be avoided in a place so secluded! Bed and tent were spacious and comfortable.

I spent a month in Oman but definitely this was the highlight of the trip. We were picked up by the owner from muscat(as we didn't have a 4x4) and he drop us to the camp. We was only in the camp and the rest of the camp was empty, which was nice as we chose this specific camp to relax and disconnect. Nice activities were offered (other guys did the dune bashing). The owner spent a really long time talking to us - he was the nicest person in the already very friendly country. The staff working there was very polite and helpful. Food options (including vegetarian!) were amazing, for the desert I think it was almost luxurious. I will always recommend this camp to everyone, it was really nice and peaceful. This camp is Thousand Stars Desert Camp . And the tallest dune is located , which is a must to climb (although exhausting). The sunset was beautiful. The owner really cares about his business, as well as his staff.

Extremely nice and charming hosts, excellent food. Lovely and remote tent area, quiet! Everything more then perfect! Highly recommendable! Lovely to get tea by the fire after dinner and to sit on a carpet in the desert for breakfast. I would love to return!

Rashid is an amazing host and so kind hearted. The location is very isolated from the other camps and right behind the last dunes for an amazing view into the desert. Food was very good and plenty available. We also did the camel training camp visit which was very interesting with Rashid‘s explanation. Dune bashing with sunset was also very entertaining.

A magical place, no other camps nearby. Said is a wonderful host, he met us to guide us to the campsite We enjoyed beautiful dates, tea, and coffee and then walked up the dunes to watch a great sunset. Our dinner was beautiful - fish, chicken shwarma, bread, rice, hummus, dips, melon....we were the only ones to stay and slept under the stars rather than the tent.

Had a lovely stay for 2 nights at Sultan Private Camp. Its three tents are located about 1 km from its partner camp Nomadic Desert Camp where we were brought for dinner and breakfast. The surrounding landscape is amazing with no disturbing lights or noise. A day trip to a wadi is easily possible. The hosts were extremely kind and we can definitely recommend staying here.

The tent was original and traditional yet has all the facilities and basic needs such as clean bedding, fan, terrace in front of of the tent to sit and watch the starts at night. The camp offers a lot of activities, dune bashing , quads, camel rides. The host Faiz waited for us on time at the meeting point and offered the best hospitality on camp. The camp is located in a quiet secluded place between the beautiful dunes and they only have 5 tents which makes the place very exclusive. It’s good value for money and it is highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay at Stars – Oman Desert Camp. The camp has only two tents, which makes it very private, peaceful, and perfect for enjoying the desert without the crowds. The tents are clean, comfortable, and well arranged, with beautiful views of the dunes and starry night skies. The host, Ali, is amazing – very welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. He made us feel at home and shared with us the true spirit of Omani hospitality. If you are looking for a quiet and authentic desert experience with comfort and privacy, I highly recommend Stars – Oman Desert Camp

    Ali and his colleagues were friendly and helpful. The camp is remote with no signal, so perfect if you are looking to disconnect from the world for a brief moment. The beds were comfy and the tents were really nice. There is even a shower on site which I did use. The sand dunes were beautiful. It gets a little chilly in the evening so remember to bring an extra layer. Dinner and breakfast was tasty and there was lots of it.

    Sandglass was exactly what it said on the tin - a basic but well located camping spot in the desert. The food was great, the hosts very welcoming and kind and a very comfortable bed for the night.

    Everything was incredible! From the beautiful accommodation to the food, to the conversation and laughs with Rashid and Mohammed, and most of all the location. Absolutely stunning. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. The beds were so comfy and the activities were fantastic. Jafa (I think was his name) provided beautiful food and was so friendly and helpful in every way. We can't fault this place and can't wait to visit again!
