The location, the beautiful well equipped tent, the food and, most of all, the staff, especially our incredible guide Lenny who was so knowledgeable and really made our stay first class. He even managed to spot the elusive black rhino! The waterhole in front of the dining area is amazing and we saw warthogs and lions drinking there-mind blowing. We didn't want to leave this paradise on earth!

Thanks to the whole team! James, thank you for these unforgettable morning and afternoon rides. You immediately felt that he was a very experienced and funny ranger! Keep it up! We were able to see four of the big five. The lodge is very luxurious. Please remember that you live in the "bush" and you can sometimes encounter insects and other creatures while showering under the open sky. :-) But that's exactly what makes it so special! The whole experience exceeded our expectations. The food is superb and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. They went through the trouble of making a separate meal for my partner to accommodate his food allergies. They also went to the trouble of setting up a screen and provided us with snacks to watch the rugby. We also got to see 4 of the Big 5 in one evening!

Long Lee Manor is situated within the malaria-free Shamwari Private Game Reserve, home to the Big 5. The Edwardian-styled manor boasts manicured gardens and overlooks the African plains.

Had such a lovely few nights in my tent! Incredibly peaceful being surrounded by nature and had a great time (despite the rain!). The staff were so friendly and accommodating and food was DELICIOUS! Great game drive in Addo, learnt so much and even saw lions. Hope to be back soon.
