Boasting a balcony with lake views, a garden and a shared lounge, Pura Vista Glamping can be found in El Castillo de La Fortuna, close to Arenal Eco Zoo and 26 km from La Fortuna Waterfall. There is a private entrance at the campground for the convenience of those who stay. The campground features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. I really enjoyed my stay here. I will definitely come back again if I was around. Wendy and her husband are so kind and helped me out a couple of time. Had some good conversations. The extra plus was with Mikey for the hiking around the area (ask Wendy for the experience). I had the possibility to plant a tree for a good cause. Excellent place and experience. My 'coup de coeur' so far in Costa Rica ✌️

Essence Arenal is an ecological hotel surrounded by Tropical Forest that offers a wellness center to tourists, it is surrounded by gardens and beautiful views of Lake Arenal, the Arenal Volcano and Cerro Chato. What a fantastic and beautiful place. So peaceful. Out in nature. I had the tent which was great with a comfy double bed, lockable wardrobe, and balcony. These tents aren't your normal camping experience. There is a small spa on site which was very relaxing. The area is on a eco farm which they are slowly increasing in size. The food was good all locally grown (much of it by themselves) vegetarian and organic. The staff were super friendly and helpful. When the clouds cleared what a stunning view of Arenal volcano and lake Arenal. I had such a relaxing time. It's about a 40 minute drive from la fortuna.
