Then the owners of the lodge prepared an amazing braai for us and we ate together with everyone who stayed there, which was so cozy! Highly recommend if you are looking for a familial vibe and cozy hangout with other travellers.

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The staff, accommodation, food and game drives were all excellent!!! We were comfortable, well looked after, and highly recommend Isambane for the price point.

Set within 19 km of Madikela Private Game Reserve and 48 km of Welgevonden Game Reserve in Vaalwater, Summerplace Game Reserve provides accommodation with seating area. With pool views, this accommodation offers a patio and a swimming pool. There is an outdoor fireplace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. I took my fiancé (then girlfriend) away for the weekend with the intention of proposing. I got in contact with the reserve and told them about my plans and requested them to assist with the set-up. They took us out on a private game drive whilst the staff was preparing a breakfast spot at the view point. Everyone assisted and overshot expectations. Apart from the lengths they went to to make the moment special, the whole weekend was amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and one feels at home. I would definitely recommend Summerplace for a weekend break away.
