Excellent staff, friendly & helpful. Navette to from lifts - or elsewhere- just ask/call. Restaurant: had dinner there twice during our stay; Fish , especially, was Michelin guide quality ; perfect service. Large choice of quality food at breakfast. Besides the fine hotel restaurant we also dined well at l’écurie restaurant (3min walk) and lunched at Le Vieux at base of Medran (Barnes) lift Hotel located in the center so easy to get around. We arrived by train at le chable & took the télécabine. An experience: cabins are 6 person so small. Tricky to have my wife jump in with a suitcase and put 2 pair of skis in the outside rack and jump in with another bag. Same experience at arrival at Verbier. Lift is great for skiers, not so great with bags. The hotel is an easy 7 min walk downhill from the lift. For our return the hotel suggested we take a cab (130sf) to martigny & we we were thankful we did: got an earlier train to Lausanne.

The property was idyllic and very private. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked with all basic needs. It was very cosy. We were lucky with the weather and took advantage of the outdoor seating and lounge chairs. The space could be very small for more than two people, especially if you can't get out because of poor weather. Superb location, within easy reach of centre. I would rebook.

The Hotel Ermitage Verbier is located in the centre of Verbier, 600 metres from the Medran cable car station and next to the stop of the free shuttle bus. It offers free WiFi and free parking.

The staff are very friendly and the location is very central. It was a wonderful experience in every way.

It consists of 2 chalets set in a large garden. Some rooms at the Hôtel Ecureuil Villars feature a kitchenette, sun terrace or balcony.
