This is a wonderful place to stay. Mira was very welcoming and our room was lovely with a big bed, AC and views! There are even better views from the terrace which is a lovely place to sit in the evening and when eating the delicious breakfast. I could not have been happier… thank you Mira.

The hostess and her family were very kind!!! The apartment was beautiful and very clean, as it appears in the photos. The bathroom was also clean and comfortable. We parked the car in the closed courtyard of the house. The location of the apartment is quite close to the center of Berat, we moved around on foot, we only took the car to go up to the castle. We were impressed by the rich breakfast on the terrace of the house from her own products and things that the hostess herself had prepared for us! We totally recommend this place!

So long as you're relatively fit, the steep climb through Mangalen is well worth it to enjoy the historical splendour of this area. The accommodation is not far from the top, where there are open top cafes/restaurants with panoramic views. Further below, several more restaurants (especially like the one with a wine bell). The property overlooks Berat new town with its huge and busy promenade. The owner is a professor who has studied Albanian history and staying here encompasses a lot of that history. The hosts are lovely and passionate about their Albanian heritage. The room has a very comfortable and large double bed, with good aircon and wifi. There is a communal lounge with tea/coffee making facilities.

New apartment in the quiet area of ​​Berat with a great balcony and the view. Everything is new, clean and shiny and there is enough space for a large group - 3 bedrooms, one with a private balcony and there are also 4 beds in the living room. The balcony has tables and a coffee machine, dishes including disposable dishes and there is also a refrigerator. It can be difficult to find for those not used to navigating the narrow streets. However, the families were extremely helpful and escorted to the place. We received a warm welcome with tangerines picked from the garden. The place is great, immaculately clean and an extraordinary view from the mountain with a veranda. Very close to the city center, can be reached by foot. The breakfast is extremely delicious. We were enchanted by the beauty of Albania and the hospitality of its people. thank you

The stay here was amazing. The family are so attentive and will go above and beyond to help you with your stay. They tried to arrange a taxi for us to a local vineyard and said it was too expensive so offered to drive us themselves. I asked if we could pay for some washing to be done and the daughter offered to do it free of charge. The breakfast was exceptional - a huge spread of freshly prepared local breakfast dishes with a great view up in the balcony. We would recommend everybody to stay here.

The host Ada is very sweet and caring. She helps you with everything and works to make you comfortable. There was no parking space but she arranged a space for us. The rooms were clean and good. The breakfast was also very delicious. You should definitely watch the magnificent view from the hotel terrace. When we come back, this will be the place we will stay again. Thank you Ada :)

    It was a family owned guesthouse, everyone was so nice, kind, and helpful! Location: right inside of the castle, it was super great location. Room: clean, quiet, comfortable bed, AC works very well, and the room’s terrace have a beautiful view! We will definitely go back again, we loved everything during our stay in the Guest House Vasili.
