The location is unbeatable—tucked in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, yet just steps away from the old castle, the local market, and directly across from the historic house of the famous writer Ismail Kadare. Walking through the charming streets felt like stepping into a storybook. The villa itself is stunning—comfortable, beautifully decorated, and full of character. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed with both modern comfort and traditional charm. We especially loved the balcony, where we enjoyed morning coffee with a view and quiet evenings under the stars. One of the highlights was the amazing breakfast—fresh, delicious, and made with local ingredients. It was the perfect start to every day and truly added to the experience. But what really made this stay unforgettable were the fantastic hosts. Warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel not just like guests, but like part of the family. This villa is perfect for anyone looking to relax, explore, and experience the authentic heart of the town. We were welcomed by our lovely hosts and instantly felt at home! The room was really clean and comfortable and all the facilities were brand new. The best shower I’ve had in a long time! But the best part of this place was the incredible view over the valley, it was really special. We got to enjoy the view over a delicious home cooked breakfast on the roof terrace. The property was in a great location just a 15 min walk to the main area and bazaar. The whole town is on a hill so expect some uphill walking to get about! Overall fabulous stay and we’d highly recommend to anyone staying in Gjirokaster!

What a place to stay, me and my partner stayed here for a night while travelling around Albania, we were greeted by the lady who ran the place, she was so friendly and such a amazing host and really tried to make us have the best stay possible even tho she speaks little English. The room was so lovely and I have to say I don’t think you can get a better spot with only 5 min walk into the Center, but far enough out to get a peaceful night sleep. The breakfast was so yummy and by far the best one we have had. Would recommend to anyone who is travelling around and couples any day of the week

The owners are super friendly and will give you good advice for your stay in Gijokastra. It's a small walk away from Old Town, say 15ish minutes. A much calmer area than the bustling bazaar, suited us perfectly. The room was clean and comfy!
