It was not an accommodation but a HOME. It was hard for us to leave. The owners played with our children, our daughter called the owner "grandfather". The best were the owner's own toy inventions. We loved it. They dont speak English but you can understand each other. Real Albanian atmosphere. Communication via booking is handled by their son, who also arranged for us the rent of a car. They cook well, when we had food left over from breakfast, they packed it for us, so we didn't have to buy lunch anywhere. We received fresh vegetables and fresh homemade eggs. Breathtaking views and sunsets.

With mountain views, Bujtina Vjosa is situated in Memaliaj and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, outdoor fireplace and children's playground.

That is an example of Albanian Hospitality! You feel like visiting your aunt. That feeling is unforgettable! Clean room, new bedding and SUPER breakfast (with fresh goat milk!)! We also asked for a lunch and that was wanderfull! Besides there is a fridge in the room with drinks. Try this experience and taste real Albania! Small but very well put together accommodation in a great location, the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We were travelling by bicycle and they had space to secure the bikes overnight and made it easy for us arriving. Our only small criticism was that there weren't as many plug sockets in the room as we would like...

We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was really friendly and we were gifted very much of their homegrown fruit, which was really tasty. The breakfasts were perfect, and overall, there are only nice things to be said about the communication and hospitality. The guest house itself was really clean and beautifully renovated. We can do nothing, but suggest this accomodation to anyone, who's planning to visit this beautiful part of Albania.

Vila Sophia is a very unique location. It’s really beautiful and calm and the views are great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and they told us it’s all local. We would certainly recommend this place when you want to see a bit more of the Albanian countryside around here.
