When you arrive you are immediately welcomed like one of the family, and Angie makes every effort to ensure that you are comfortable. She will also do laundry. Breakfast was good, with fresh fruit which is a rarity in Chile. The house is warm and the room comfortable and cosy. And there are magnificent views - we stayed here twice and loved it!

Unexpectedly lovely place with a great little courtyard to sit and have a beer. Close to the seafront and some really great restaurants. Host was lovely, too.

I love the people here, from the staff/volunteers to the guests. I love the cleanliness I love the bed, oh that's the comfiest hostel bunk bed I have ever slept and I am now not being extra LMAO I love the bathroom, it's so SPACIOUS I love the environment even they have a park in the back! This is a special message for the volunteers, there are two: that one Argentine man (I am really bad at remembering name) and a spanish girl named Alba, you guys are very kind... the Argentine is very bubbly and he let me stay for some hours extension for free only for waiting for my bus. And Alba, she is a sweet Catalunya girl. We had a lot of things to chit-chat and she loves to paint. If you stay here and see the paintings of two mountains in a section behind the reservation, that's what she did. To these two people, if you read this, I wanna say, it would be a pleasure to meet you and thank you for giving me a memorable ending for my Chile trip even tho it's only one-night moment. The location of the property is great, you can park your car safely and walk to the center of Puerto Varas in 5 min. our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and also very clean. Would definitely return here.

This is a nice little gem. Great for travellers. Walking distance to everything. And the host was kind, informed and very laid-back. Definitely recommend.

Basic but comfortable stay. Friendly and helpful owners and one of the more affordable stays in Puerto Varas. Not very central but you can still walk to the centre. Was able to use the kitchen and the breakfast was left out extra time, very nice.

It was clean, the location is good, the WiFi worked well, basic diy breakfast included and the owner was very shy woman of few words but friendly. And the dogs were fun. I really don’t understand the high rating, it’s a 6/10 for me because of the above mentioned combined with the price but I would never recommend it for more than just a bed and shower.
