The owners of the Apartment Monte Luna Mountain are sweet and helpful. They helped us with things to see in Costa Rica and have a lovely dog named Bonnie. We had 2 rooms - one with a full equipped kitchen in ground floor and one on 1st floor with a beautiful view and a little kitchen. We can only recommend this place!

I travel a lot and spend a long time away from home, so cleanliness, comfort, and beauty around me are very important. I found all of this at La Tigra Mountain House. The beds are wide, the mattresses are comfortable. The hostess of the house is very attentive and caring. And I would like to highlight the view separately. It's fantastic!!! The Platanar and Porvenir volcanoes are visible as if in the palm of your hand. Sunrises, clouds running at eye level, and hovering birds attract and compel you to stop and enjoy life. In the morning, I tried to exercise, but it smoothly transitioned into meditation... As they say, it's better to see once than hear a hundred times!! Come and see for yourself. I recommend it...

A beautiful place to stay. The hosts are artists and very knowleadgable about the area so their advice on things like where to go/bus times etc was really useful. As a solo female traveller this place was ideal and I felt very safe and comfortable here.

It's located at 10 minutes walking distance away from centro area so surrounding area is very quite. The house is 2 stories building and the host family is living at ground floor. The upper floor is used for rent and composed of 3 rooms and 1 shared bath room. The rooms are kept clean and good to sleep. The host family is willing to help guest.
