Outstanding service. Large breakfast with lots of drinks, fruit, cereals, specialty items (salmon, parfaits), vegetables, and made to order eggs. Hosts took our dinner orders prior to departing for the festival. Hardy homemade meal, although perhaps a smaller selection than other restaurants. Hosts coordinated a shuttle pickup from the hotel for €30. If you do have your own vehicle, it costs about €10 per day to park at the festival, which it a better value than the shuttle or taxi. It’s a 3-5 min walk from parking to the festival.

15 miles from Bayreuth Central Station, Pension Haus Wanninger is a recently renovated 4-star guest house in Warmensteinach, providing rooms with free Wifi and pool with a view.

The breakfast was diverse and generous—eggs, meat, drink of your choice plus juices, breads/jams/honey/Nutella, fresh fruit, sliced meats/cheeses. Hostess was friendly, accommodating; room and bath were spacious. Shower particularly nice. Outside Bayreuth 30 minutes but easy to find and a great value, though cash only.

Pension Hofer enjoys a location in Bad Berneck im Fichtelgebirge, 12 miles from Bayreuth Central Station and 14 miles from Oberfrankenhalle Bayreuth.

Very quiet neighborhood. The street is a little bit busy during the day, but quiet at night. Comfortable rooms. Excellent restaurants in the immediate area. Decent breakfast. Parking near the buidling

Charming large country house. There are many board games in the living room, there are also music CDs with classic music. A lot of space. Comfortable beds with clean linens. There are 2-3 parking spaces in front of the house. Very friendly staff.
