Pension Am Heusteig was an excellent place to stay while in Stuttgart. The staff were excellent who were friendly and helpful our whole stay. The room was nice, warm, and snuggly with a nice clean bed. No complaints. Breakfasts were very fresh with plenty of options to choose from. The hotel was in a good location - just a bit out of the way, but within 10 to 15 minutes we were where we needed to be.

Also in a very short walk you could find good restaurants of every taste, Italian, swabish, asian, Arabic. Two supermarkets just a 2 minute walk away. - Very good location, right in front of the train station, (Filderstadt Bahnhof). - The staff was very helpful and very friendly. They understood and spoke English well. - The room was clean and in perfect condition when I arrived. The attached toilet/shower was also clean and had all the expected supplies, except a toothpaste. - The room had an electric kettle with coffee and tea sachets. It would be nice to have 2-3 extra sachets. Overall 10/10, I would love to stay here again and would recommend my friends the same.

The hotel is very well run. But on a skeleton staff. The receptionist is also the cleaner, etc. However, she is a very kind, very helpful person, and lots of thought has gone into the fine touches. Such as the nice coffee/tea selection in the room. And little extras in the bathroom, complimentary toothbrush & toothpaste, small packet of earbuds. Etc. Clearly, a hotel that cares and is really delivering its best for its price range.
