We needed somewhere to stay that was close to the property we are renovating, and it was ideal . The room was very clean and modern deco . The modern bathroom was lovely, and shower pressure was good . The owner was very informative on where best to eat etc . Would definitely recommend staying in these rooms .

This place is an amazing little stay. The bedroom is immaculately presented, with little chocolates next to the bed, tea and coffee, robes and an amazing view. Though you have to share a bathroom, it wasn't a problem. It's close to town, and the owners are super friendly and knowledgeable. I would also do yourself a favour and order the English breakfast it was delicious.

I stayed in Glendale for two weekend nights in October and had a wonderful experience. The house itself is five minutes stroll from the centre of town with free parking outside, run by two friendly and kind hosts who welcomed me to their home and were hospitable, chatty and helpful. The house itself is absolutely spotless, up there with any hotel I have stayed in regarding cleanliness. I stayed in a single room which was wonderful value for what I paid, was en-suite and was comfortable and cozy. Breakfast in the morning was also one of the best I have had in any establishment. Lots of variety, all cooked to order, piping hot and top quality ingredients. during my stay I had a lovely bowl of porridge, fresh fruits, and an English breakfast. The owners were in and out chatting to the guests during breakfast, offering help and advice if needed, and continually checking if anyone wanted more or needed anything else. if you are going to Keswick I highly recommend the Glendale. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and it was fantastic value for the price paid. Thank you guys, I will return sometime.

Location is great with free private parking, 10 mins to lake and 7~8 mins to town center by foot. Staff is very nice and helpful. After checkout we leave the car in their yard and do short hiking around the lake. Breakfast is excellent, we ordered traditional British breakfast with black pudding. It's nice. They also has a small but beautiful garden.

Breakfast excellent. Full English with locally sourced products, plus home made bread and marmalade. Room very clean, warm, comfortable with good en-suite bathroom (with great shower over the bath.) We look forward to returning in the future.
