Fantastic location, great and friendly staff, private direct outdoor room access was a fantastic help with the dog. I think this is the most beautiful place I've ever stayed in. I'm just sorry we couldn't have stayed longer. (Would have liked to have tried the hot tub! So thoughtfully presented - even a deep sleep pillow spray as well as fresh flowers. The setting is beautiful too. Very quiet and peaceful.

We liked the old world charm, nicely done up to a contemporary and comfortable standard. The room and ensuite were super clean. The breakfast was perfect with a selection of cereals and a really nice fresh fruit salad followed by a great cooked breakfast and pot of tea or coffee. The staff were lovely, friendly and chatty. The location was right in a small quiet port town with fantastic historic buildings. We highly recommend Burford Lodge.
