What a great sanctuary of a place and wonderful people! Nia, the Manager did all she could to welcome us and even stayed up late when we had unavoidable delays making us arrive well past check in. But the whole team are fantastic being attentive and responsive to our needs and requests with smiles at the ready. The inclusion of your choice of breakfast is fantastic and it was the nicest breakfast and cleanest accommodation we had in our month on Sumatra We stayed for 5 nights but would have happily stayed longer. We had to move one night as they were full and stayed at Carolina Cottages but couldn’t wait to get back to a much more welcoming and flexible vibe at Hub Tata If you want peaceful lakeside spot and a lovely vibe with helpful good people and a delicious breakfast this is your place! We booked 2 nights and ending up extending to 5 nights. We loved the place! Waking up with a great view, cheap scooter rental and a very friendly owner with lots of recommendations for the island. Recommended to all travelers.

The hosts were fantastic, they made us feel home. We drove around the island with Hisar and it was really great. The view from the room was magic, especially at sunset and sunrise. There is an access for swimming into the lake which is cool. Thank you Hisar and Lasta, wame will never forget you and Lake Toba!
