The place is located in the amazing area, the view for the whole valley and the Mount Rinjani, rice fields etc. You can sit on the common terrace and enjoy the view. The owner is really friendly, made us amazing banana pancakes for the breakfast and I also liked the room, it was very simple, but the bed was comfortable. There was no air-con, but there was a fan, and it was enough as in the night the temperature drops to probably around 19/21 degrees. Also, the owner was really helpful and arranged the tour with a local guide, we walked around about 5 hours, visited waterfalls, nice fields, monkey forest and it was soooo great! Totally recommend

The property is located in a calm area in the village, next to a rice field - you will have a beautiful view for the breakfast. The room are clean and pretty. And the best part is Amin, he is someone incredibly nice, friendly and we felt like home. We had some health issues during our stay and he helped us with everything. I recommend the rice field tour with him too

I didn't expect to find a place as nice as this, 3 bungalows that are still quite new with attractive designs fully furnished, clean bathrooms and all function well, the view of Mount Rinjani looks very majestic and stunning from the bungalow, and the river flow next to it brings meaningful tranquility, beautiful rice field views, this place is very new, the location is not so touristic for those of you who want to find local wisdom come here, Burhan is a kind host who always helps with all his kindness, the young people who work there are very friendly and kind. Awesome location around rice plantation. The room was by far the best I got in my 3 weeks in Indonesia. Everything well cared.

The place is really nice, cozy, and well maintained. The highlight has to be the breathtaking view of the volcano. Huge shoutout to the staff, especially Rozi and Ardi, who were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our visit.

I recommend 100% Opik Homestay! The room was big, clean, with a beautiful bathroom and new bedding. Opik is very kindful, helpful and eager to share his experience and best recommendations to visit Tetebatu. The food is also very good, for breakfast or lunch/diner. The area is beautiful and perfect for people looking for nature and local culture. I am sure this place will become the place to be in Tetebatu, as Opik is a talented and determined entrepreneur. I wish him all the best and I know he will succeed in this project to make his homestay a great place for tourists!

Honestly, this is one of those reviews that doesn’t make sense because I have plenty of critiques about the hotel itself, and still, I’m giving it five stars without blinking. Yes, my room at Pondok Tetebatu had a strong smell of ammonia (probably due to the pipes), the bathroom was super basic, and the place is clearly not about comfort or luxury. But somehow… none of it mattered. Because what I experienced here was way beyond accommodation. I had the chance to spend the day with Ucok, who turned out to be not only an amazing guide, but also the cooker at the guesthouse… and honestly? The food was absolutely delicious. Simple, generous, and made with care. But that’s not even the best part. Ucok took me on a day I’ll never forget: we walked through rice fields, visited beautiful waterfalls, and he even brought me to drink a fresh coconut right from the tree. We laughed a lot, shared stories, and I felt truly welcomed and at peace. It was heartfelt, human, real: everything you hope to experience when traveling off the beaten path. I came here expecting very little, and I’m leaving with a full heart and unforgettable memories. So yes, the room could use an upgrade. But for the connection, the beauty of the surroundings, and the warmth of Ucok and his family, this place is an absolute gem. The price is honestly a joke compared to what I received. Don’t come for the amenities come for the experience. And let yourself be surprised. Thank you Ucok. You made Tetebatu magical.

Staff were really friendly. They even did a bonfire on the evening and made us sweet potatos, lovely touch. Rooms were perfect, nice shower with hot water. A few shops, restaurants and Bakery close by.
