We really enjoyed our stay at Greenmount. The host is lovely and could not do enough for us, she even dropped us into town for our dinner reservation. The beds and facilities were super comfy with loads of gorgeous attention to detail , she even had sleeping masks for us. There was a lovely selection of breakfast bits for the morning - tea coffee, yogurts fresh fruits cereals and bread and jam. I would highly recommend . I stayed with 2 friends and there was plenty of room for us al and very easy to get a taxi out from Westport town after a night out - it’s about a 5min drive from Westport centre.

I stayed at Roscaoin House for one night at the end of August. This was my first time in Westport and I'm so glad that Roscaoin House was my introduction! The location is great - a short, direct walk from the train station down Altamount Street, and a stone's throw from the lovely Mall and town centre. I received a warm welcome from Finola, the owner, who couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The house is a handsome old property full of beautiful and characterful period features and furnishings. I had an amazing night's sleep in my cosy room - I really felt so at home - and the next morning Finola served the best scrambled eggs I have EVER tasted! My plans were taking me elsewhere but I was sorry to leave... not least because I was smitten with little Rocco the Westie! Thank you again Finola for a lovely experience.
