The property is really beautiful - the decor is tasteful,warm and friendly. It has a hot tub and a cold plunge and a huge kitchen. There is a garden/conservatory linking the kitchen to the house which is simply wonderful filled with amazing plants with lots of seating. It is nothing like anywhere else we have stayed and stands out from the rest of the accommodation available in Iceland.

Perfect location, very friendly family! We got to feed the horses and watch the goats, sheep and chickens. Got to some great tips for our next stops as well.

Very nice place to stay! big room and bathroom . Kitchen well equiped. Nice position. Helena has been a very kind host. We needed a can opener, which was not in the kitchen, and Stefan was happy to help. We missed the goat tour, but we had the opportunity to meet the goats the following morning. Very nice, Indeed.

Hateigi 2 is a great location to explore the Southern area. Veronique is really friendly and helpful. The accommodation is modern, comfortable, and well equipped. Very good value for money. Ideal for family stay. Reykjavik is about 90 min drive, and similar to Vik going the other way. All Golden Circle attractions in reach also.
